The XS Scuba Standard OPV releases pressure in the event of over pressurisation of the 1st stage. Commonly used on argon cylinders, due to no second stage being present.

Some technical divers install the XS Scuba Standard OPV to prevent over pressurisation to their second stages, that causes free flowing at depth. It fits all 3/8” port of any 1st stage regulator.

Made of chromed brass, with a stainless steel internal spring.
