XS Scuba 2nd Stage Quick Disconnect with Brass Swivel uses the same coupler as the AC990, but comes with the additional benefits of adding a brass swivel male end.

It is meant to be installed between the LP Hose and the 2nd Stage, or also commonly popular to the Full Face Mask. The swivel action reduces direct stress, leading to a more comfortable dive underwater.
