Dural backplate, thickness 3 mm, made of salt water resistant aluminium alloy with edges bevelled on a NC cutter. Backplate is hard anodised.

It is not possible to take apart the QUICK-FIX stainless-steel buckles. You can only adjust the harness by pulling the strap.
